About this notice
T2 Group Pty Ltd (ABN 58 669 995 706), trading as Northstar Strategy & Advisory, operates this website. This notice describes our landing page and general enquiries. For a privacy question, request or complaint, contact admin@northstarsanda.com.au or 0490 699 175.
Browsing the landing page
The landing page does not ask you to enter your name, email address, mobile number or other personal details. It has no enquiry form, newsletter signup, customer account, online booking or checkout. Its page code does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts, and does not set cookies or store information in your browser. Website images and styles are served from our domain.
The website is hosted through Crazy Domains. Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser or device information to deliver the website, maintain logs, diagnose faults and protect systems. This is separate from entering information into a form. Hosting-provider handling is also subject to its service arrangements and privacy information.
This notice concerns the public landing page. Administrative WordPress sign-in pages on the domain have separate login and security functions and may use cookies.
If you call or email us
A telephone link opens your calling application; an email link opens your email application. Information is sent when you choose to make the call or send an email. We may receive caller ID, your email address, your name, business details and information you choose to share.
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss the services you requested, carry out related follow-up and meet applicable legal obligations. You may make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practicable, although we may need contact details to reply or discuss a specific engagement. Please avoid sending unnecessary identity documents, tax file numbers, passwords, sensitive information or personal records about other people in an initial enquiry.
Handling enquiry information
Enquiry information may be held in our business email and communication systems and in relevant business records. Access is limited to people and service providers reasonably needed to respond and support those systems, or where disclosure is authorised or required by law. Telephone, email and hosting providers may process information outside Australia according to their service arrangements. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry before sharing confidential records.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold. We retain it while reasonably needed for the relevant enquiry, engagement or a lawful retention requirement, and then securely destroy or de-identify it where appropriate. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Browsing or making an enquiry does not by itself authorise unrelated promotional email or SMS. If we send promotional messages, we must have consent permitted by law, identify the sender and provide a functioning unsubscribe option.
Consulting engagements
If an engagement requires records containing personal information, we will explain the relevant handling arrangements before receiving those records and provide additional notice where required. This short website notice does not replace any additional privacy disclosures required for those services.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold using the contact details above. We may reasonably verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days and will explain if more time is needed. If access or correction is refused where lawful, we will explain the reason and available complaint avenues except where the law permits otherwise.
For a complaint, tell us what happened and the outcome you seek. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 calendar days. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies to the matter and you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 992. Other legal rights and complaint avenues remain available.
Changes
We will update this notice if relevant website practices change and show the revision date. Adding a form, tracking service or other new feature requires a fresh privacy assessment and any notice or consent required by law.
